Internet Dating Photos

It always amazes me when I see some of the photos guys are posting on their online dating profiles.

If you want to see what I mean just simply go to Craigslist and search the “men seeking women” ads.

It’s funny, because one thing I like to do before posting an ad on Craigslist is go through all those ads and make a note of some of the worst pictures I see, them reference them in my profile.

Say some guy has a picture of himself posing in the bathroom mirror with his shirt off.

He takes the picture with his cell phone so all you see is some shirtless dude in his bathroom holding his cell phone to his face. (This is VERY common on Craigslist, BTW.)

So, I see that picture and then I’ll reference it in my write up. I might start off my profile with something like this:

“OK, I know the guy below me posing in the bathroom mirror with his shirt off is really getting you hot and bothered, but I don’t think he’s quite your type. Anyway…”

See that?

What an awesome way to start an online profile!

As you know, I’m a big fan of starting off humorous and that more than does the job.

So, I really recommend you check out some profiles with terrible pics and try and reference them in your profile. You’ll get her laughing and then you’ll have her phone number in no time!

Great Profile Headlines Online Dating

So, one of my favorite things to do is to go on Craigslist and check out the personals section to see how the guys are doing.

Unfortunately, I usually end up disappointed.

You see, when I go to the “Men seeking Women” section and look at their profile subject lines, I can’t help but shake my head.

Here are several examples taken right off CL.

  • Hey Baby!
  • Hey!
  • Gentlemen seeks a beautiful companion.
  • Chat!
  • SWM seeking soulmate possibilities
  • SWM searching for a close discreet friend.
  • Looking to have some fun.
  • Got a bun in the oven? (What?)
  • Dinner and a Movie?
  • Canvas Converse in the Boardroom.
  • RIGHT HERE.
  • This is who I am! Please help.
  • If you’re petite with a tight little…
  • Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.
  • mature
  • A Really Nice Guy
  • Looking to Date Again

Good god!!

There are so many things wrong with the above, I wouldn’t know where to start! I’m not even sure what a couple of them mean!

When it comes to getting attention, lots of guys have really gotten creative, and NOT in a good way.

Writing an online profile does NOT have to be difficult. Remember, attractive women on dating sites have plenty of options to choose from so you want a profile headline that’s not only creative, but GET’S ATTENTION! And isn’t creepy and weird.

I like to use ambiguous headlines that generate mystery. You know, a headline that makes her HAVE to know what I’m talking about…

Something like…

“Oh no! I can’t BELIEVE you’re going to do that!”

Now, when a woman is browsing through a list of endless boring profiles, what do you think she’ll do when she sees this subject line? I’m going to bet that she’ll click on it to see what I mean by “that.”

And that’s what you want! Women can’t turn down a mystery….EVER!

So, when you go online and write up a profile, try coming up with a subject line similar to what I have above. And come up with a clever way to start out your profile answering the subject line.

I’m telling you, this gets women to click through EVERY time!!

I mean, if I saw a subject line that read, “This Scares me…”, I’m going to open it up right away!

Well, when I saw this subject line in my email inbox, I came up with a pretty cool idea.

Now, you know I really like coming up with clever subject lines for my online dating emails.

Nothing is more important than getting your emails opened because attractive women get bombarded with emails from guys all the time.

So, how about I use the above subject line in an email!

I can see it now…

Subject:  This Scares me…

Body:  I mean, you are getting flooded with emails from guys that just DON’T get it! And you were about to respond to one of them??  Don’t do it!  Seriously!  Anyway…

There we go.

Just continue on from there.

You can come up with all kinds of clever ways to expand onthat subject line.
